SCTE Membership Types
CableLabs All Access Membership
Open to any person who is an employee of a CableLabs member company. Create an account using your corporate email address to enjoy all access benefits.
Professional Membership
Open to any person who has an interest in the purposes of the Society or who is employed full or part time in the engineering or technical operations, cable television, broadband communications or broadcasting systems.
Executive Membership
Open to those in an organizational management or leadership capacity who has an interest in the purposes of the Society or who is employed full or part time in the engineering or technical operations, cable television, broadband communications or broadcasting systems with the position of director or higher.
Lifetime Membership
Avoid future price changes and the hassle of annual renewal invoices with the brand-new lifetime professional membership category. As a lifetime professional member, you take advantage of all of the benefits of SCTE without having to renew annually. To ensure continuous membership with no hassles, this membership option is for you.
In Transition Members
Individuals who have been displaced from a job within the broadband industry are eligible to receive a 50% discount on SCTE professional membership dues.
Retired Members
Any current active SCTE member who is no longer employed full-time in the broadband industry, has been a member in good standing for a minimum of 3 years and is at least 55 years of age may apply for retired membership status.
Disabled Members
Disabled persons are eligible for Retired member status, regardless of age. Fully disabled is defined as the inability to continue working in full-time employment due to illness, injury or other debilitating problem.
Student Members
Individuals who are not holding full-time employment and pursuing an engineering or technical degree or certificate at an accredited college, university or technical trade school are eligible for student membership. SCTE requires enrollment verification and expected completion date. Student membership is limited to 4 years.
Emeritus Members
Emeritus Memberships are a prestigious honor awarded to those who have reached 40 years of continuous SCTE membership. Please join us in thanking them for their decades contributing to SCTE and the cable industry.
